Anthropology Day is a day for anthropologists to celebrate our discipline while sharing it with the world around us. UGA anthropology students, faculty, and visitors gathered to celebrate World Anthropology Day with an engaging showcase of research, outreach, and hands-on activities.
Sarieh (Solmaz) Amiri, a PhD student from the University of Georgia and a member of the Quaternary Isotope Paleoecology Lab, has been awarded the "2026 Dienje Kenyon Memorial Fellowship by the Society for American Archaeology (SAA)."
